Texas A&M is trying to bounce back from an extra-innings loss to Auburn on Friday. The Aggies are once again heading to extra innings on Saturday, and Ryan Targac provided a clutch home run to make that happen.
With one out in the 8th inning, Targac stepped to the plate with Auburn clinging to a 4-3 lead. A first-pitch fastball that was supposed to be down and away did not find its mark and wound up finding the heart of the plate.
Targac did not miss it, smashing a home run to rightfield that cleared everything to tie the game at 4-all.
