Samuel M’Pemba, 5-star Class of 2023 edge defender, announces SEC commitment

Samuel M’Pemba is headed to Athens. The elite edge defender announced his commitment to Georgia on Sunday.

Originally from the St. Louis area, M’Pemba plays for the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He is listed at over 6-3 and 240 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, M’Pemba is rated 5-stars, the No. 4 edge prospect, No. 8 Florida recruit and No. 30 recruit overall nationally in the Class of 2023.
After picking up 37 scholarship offers, M’Pemba named a final 4 of Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Miami on Nov. 14. M’Pemba has already offered Georgia fans a potential preview of what’s to come, posing with the College Football Playoff trophy during a visit to Athens.
