It’s another full Saturday of SEC baseball. The teams are in their fourth conference series of the 2022 season.
Tennessee is ranked No. 1 with a 29-1 overall mark. The Vols are off to a historic 10-0 start in conference play. UT will try to get to 11-0 Saturday night against Mizzou, one of the 2 games that will air on the SEC Network. Kentucky at Texas A&M, a series finale rubber match, is the other game on the SEC Network, while the other 5 conference clashes are streaming on SEC Network+.
No. 2 Arkansas is atop the SEC West standings. The Razorbacks are 23-6 overall and 8-3 in SEC play after splitting the first 2 games at unranked Florida. The rubber match in Gainesville gets the Saturday slate started.
There were some notable upsets Friday. In Gainesville, the Gators evened the series with the Razorbacks by winning 7-2. On The Plains, Auburn took down No. 16 Vanderbilt 5-1. Alabama went to Oxford and defeated No. 9 Ole Miss 7-4.
