SEC makes college baseball history following release of USA Today coaches poll

USA Today Sports’ Week 2 college baseball rankings are out and the Southeastern Conference continues to smash records when it comes to achievements in the world of college athletics.
If you missed the memo, the SEC is dominance when it comes to college baseball. In case you needed further proof of that, just check out the new USA Today poll which features 11 of the SEC’s 14 teams. As impressive as that is on paper, it gets more impressive when you realize that’s never happened in the history of the poll.
And it’s not just the teams at the top that are dominating as No. 21 Tennessee, is the only undefeated SEC team with a mark of 12-0 on the season.
