Texas A&M leads the SEC averaging over 594 yards of total offense per game, while Alabama is averaging over 587 yards. Amazingly, Texas A&M is averaging eight yards per play and is averaging over 74 plays per game.
Ole Miss has made its claim to have the SEC’s best defense, and the Rebels are allowing opponents an SEC-low 248 yards of total offense per game. Alabama and LSU are both holding opponents under 300 yards of total offense. Ole Miss is yielding just 3.7 yards per play.
