Ole Miss’ top defense flexed its muscles again Saturday against the SEC’s top offense in Texas A&M, and the Rebels’ landshark defense dominated. Ole Miss leads the SEC with 12 INTs and is tied for the league lead with 16 takeaways. The Rebels are also allowing the fewest yards per play with 4.31.
Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Alabama are all averaging over 500 yards of total offense per game. Six SEC teams — Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi State, Auburn, Alabama and LSU — are averaging over 200 yards rushing.
