The 2022-23 SEC women’s basketball media days kicked off Tuesday with the media predicting each program’s order of finish, the SEC champion and the SEC Player of the Year.
No surprise, South Carolina is at the top of all 3. The Gamecocks, the defending national champs, downing UConn in last season’s NCAA Tournament Title game.
Here’s the predicted order of finish.

- Florida
- Kentucky
- Mississippi State
- Georgia
- Alabama
- Texas A&M
- Mizzou
- Auburn
- Vanderbilt
Obviously, the Gamecocks were picked to win the SEC. South Carolina also saw Aliyah Boston predicted to win the SEC Player of the Year.
