AL.com’s annual All-SEC defensive team has been released right on cue, one day following its publication of its first-team offensive team on Wednesday morning. Per usual, the conference’s 14 Sports Information Directors are the voters.

It should come to no surprise that Alabama leads all teams with four players, returning what is expected to be the No. 1 defense in the nation heading into the 2016 season. The Crimson Tide ranked No. 2 in the country in yards per play (4.3) allowed last year, and with names like Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster, Tim Williams, and Eddie Jackson back in the lineup, we can expect a similar result once again.

Here are the other names to watch, according to the first-team list:

Defensive Line: Derek Barnett, Jr., Tennessee; Myles Garrett, Jr., Texas A&M; Jonathan Allen, Sr., Alabama; Arden Key, So., LSU

Linebacker: Reuben Foster, Sr., Alabama; Zach Cunningham, Jr., Vanderbilt; Tim Williams, Sr., Alabama

Defensive Back: Jalen Tabor, Jr., Florida; Armani Watts, Jr., Texas A&M; Eddie Jackson, Sr., Alabama; Jamal Adams, Jr., LSU

Kicker: Daniel Carlson, Jr., Auburn
