Seeking deal, bowl game switches from GoDaddy to Dollar General

Corporate sponsorships have increasingly become a part of college football bowl games in the past few years.
While a team’s fans and players might not mind playing in the Outback Bowl or the Allstate Sugar Bowl, there were some less prestigious names, like the GoDaddy Bowl.
Well, if anyone was embarrassed about playing in the GoDaddy Bowl, they can worry no more, because it has a new name.

While the game is played in SEC country, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., conference teams don’t have to worry about playing in the Dollar General Bowl. The game matches up Sun Belt and MAC opponents.
