Shane Beamer is going to be coy about injuries going into Saturday’s SEC East battle against top-ranked Georgia.
The Gamecocks will already be short two defensive starters as defensive end Jordan Strachan and linebacker Mohamed Kaba are out for the rest of the season with ACL tears.
Hale McGranahan of The Big Spur (247Sports) has additional details.
Beamer has listed several other players questionable. This includes defensive backs R.J. Roderick, David Spaulding and Cam Smith, wide receiver Corey Rucker and defensive lineman Alex Huntley.
“Hopefully, we will have those guys on Saturday,” Beamer said. “If not, our depth isn’t where it needs to be for sure, but we have really good players on this football team and we are going to take a bunch of really good guys out there on Saturday to play against really, really good Georgia team and a really, really well coached Georgia team as well.”
South Carolina will host Georgia this Saturday at noon on ESPN.
