Fresh off winning the Elite 11 quarterback challenge, Ole Miss commit Shea Patterson was elevated to a five-star prospect on 247Sports player rankings.
Patterson was so impressive spinning the football at The Opening last week that he even surpassed the hype entering the competition. He’s now the No. 8 overall player in the country.
Patterson also announced Monday that he’s transferring high schools. Patterson will attend the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, for his senior season.
SEC-bound wide receiver Kyle Davis also turned heads at The Opening and picked up his fifth star. The 6-2, 218-pound receiver is now the No. 1 wide receiver in the country, and Georgia, Auburn and Tennessee will continue to battle for his commitment.
