Stats show Clemson’s first-half showing arguably the worst for Alabama under Nick Saban

Alabama finds itself losing at halftime 31-16 in the College Football Playoff championship game, but it gets the ball after halftime.

Tua Tagovailoa’s two first-half INTs really hurt the Tide, as Clemson scored two TDs off of them. Nick Saban’s defense is getting gashed, too, by Clemson and QB Trevor Lawrence.

As things stand right now, Alabama has to score and get some momentum going immediately after halftime, or the Tide risk getting blown out.
