If you couldn’t already tell, South Carolina coach Will Muschamp has been hard at work since becoming head coach in Columbia.
Muschamp has hit the ground running on the recruiting trail. The Gamecocks had 12 commitments at the time Muschamp was hired, but the Class of 2016 currently sits at 23 with a little more than a week before National Signing Day on Feb. 3.
He also quickly assembled a noteworthy staff with great recruiters such as Travaris Robinson, Bryan McClendon and Lance Thompson, among others.
Apparently, the Head Ball Coach likes what he sees. Here’s what he had to say on Monday, according to Matt Connolly of The State:
Steve Spurrier "Will Muschamp and his staff has come in and their busting their tails all over the country."

It may have been an iffy hire back in early December, but there’s no question Muschamp has gotten some support early on at South Carolina.
