Tennessee made an interesting addition to its roster ahead of the 2022 season on Monday, according to a report.
Per 247Sports, former Nebraska linebacker Jackson Hannah has been added to the Vols’ roster as a preferred walk-on.
Hannah is a Nashville native, so he’s heading back to his home state. He’ll have 3 years of eligibility remaining after redshirting in 2019 and receiving the free year of COVID-19 eligibility in 2020.
Hannah played in all 12 games for the Cornhuskers in 2021, mostly on special teams. He recorded 1 tackle this past season, the only one on his resume during his Nebraska career.
Hannah was a 3-star prospect during the 2019 cycle. What role he carves out for himself on Rocky Top remains to be seen.
