Tennessee is gearing up for the Third Saturday in October in Week 8.

This is always a date that is circled by Tennessee fans, and this year is no different. The Vols enter the game as the N0. 11 team in the nation, while the Crimson Tide are sitting at No. 7. Both teams already have an SEC loss, so this game could have major College Football Playoff implications.

Naturally, the staff at Tennessee desperately wants the crowd to be hyped for this game. As a result, the school has announced an “Orange Out” for the contest.

In case you don’t remember, this is the same thing the team did the last time Alabama was in town in 2022, when the Vols won 52-49. Last weekend against Florida, the Vols checkered Neyland. Now, fans just simply have to wear orange.

On the field, this could turn out to be an all-time classic rivalry game like the 2022 edition. Both teams enter the game at 5-1 overall and 2-1 in SEC play. Both teams’ lone SEC loss came on the road to an unranked opponent, with Tennessee losing to Arkansas and Alabama falling to Vanderbilt.

In Week 7, both teams played similarly again. The Tide barely got by unranked South Carolina, while Tennessee had to go to overtime to beat Florida. The schedules don’t let up either, as both teams still have multiple matchups with ranked opponents on deck.

These SEC rivals will kick off from Neyland Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
