Tennessee coach Tony Vitello names starting pitchers for first 2 games of super regional vs. Notre Dame

Tennessee is the No. 1 baseball team in the country and cruised through the regional it hosted in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

Now, the Vols are gearing up for a best-of-3 series against Notre Dame in the super-regional round, which will also be hosted in Knoxville. Game 1 is set for Friday night.

On Thursday, coach Tony Vitello announced the starting pitchers for the first 2 games of the series. The Vols will turn to a pair of sophomores — right-handers Blade Tidwell and Chase Dollander — in Games 1 and 2:

Game 1 is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Friday night and can be seen on ESPN2. Game 2 on Saturday is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
