While significant progress is being made on Rocky Top toward the 2019 recruiting cycle, Jeremy Pruitt’s program has been working hard on Tennessee’s future classes, too. The latest example of that comes from the commitment of Greeneville native and 2020 prospect Will Albright.

Albright announced he has committed as a full scholarship player on Tuesday. The Greeneville native projects as a long snapper for Tennessee but also plays safety in high school.

According to Rubio Long Snapping, Albright ranks as the nation’s No. 4 long snapper for the 2020 recruiting cycle. Here’s what the site has to say in regards to scouting Albright:

Albright was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in GA on April 22, 2018. When Albright is on, he is very on and easily one of the top Long Snappers in his class. He has a tremendous frame and is very athletic. Need to see Albright focus on making sure he is extending the ball out about 8-12” so he can really create some great whip on the ball. Extending the ball will push Albright’s snap speeds from high .7s to low .7s immediately. TOP 12 at VEGAS XXXII should be his big priority.

His made his announcement public with the following tweet:

Apparently, even long snappers have highlight reels these days.
