With two losses, Texas A&M realizes it no longer has a shot to reach college football’s Final Four.

But the Aggies, who debuted at No. 19 in the selection committee’s poll released Tuesday, can make the race interesting.

They travel to LSU on the final regular season game.

Texas A&M appeared just one time in the CFP rankings last year, at No. 24 in the third edition. The Aggies then lost to Missouri and were not ranked again.

Texas A&M will be favored in its next three games, beginning Saturday at home against Auburn. The Aggies should be 9-2, 5-2 in the SEC, heading into the Nov. 28 date in Baton Rouge.
