Texas recently signed one of the top 2024 recruiting classes in the country. Ahead of their 2023 Playoff game, the Longhorns picked up a new commitment for the 2025 class.

Anthony “Deuce” Williams verbally pledged to Steve Sarkisian’s program Monday live on YouTube.

A standout of Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek, Williams is listed as measuring 6-3, 190 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Williams is rated 3-stars, the No. 45 linebacker, No. 66 player in the Lone Star State and No. 431 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.

Williams has already picked up offers from 19 schools. Last month, Williams named a top 12 of Texas, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, TCU, Houston, Texas Tech, Notre Dame, Oregon, Nebraska, Kansas and Arizona. He had 5 hats on the table for Monday’s commitment ceremony.

Williams gives Texas 4 commitments for 2025 almost a year out from December’s Early Signing Period. Fans can get a preview of what Williams brings to Austin by checking out his highlights, below, via Hudl:
