Tolu Smith was one of the more underrated players in the SEC last season. The senior center averaged 16.1 points per game with 8.7 rebounds, leading the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament in Year 1 of Chris Jans in Starkville.

On Sunday, Smith announced that he would be entering the NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility, a move that gives him options heading into next season.

He made the announcement on social media Sunday:

Smith hopped to a bit of a slow start to SEC play this season before posting incredible numbers in February and March, scoring in double digits in the final 18 games of the season. Ten of those games were double-double performances.

Because of this, Smith was named to the first-team All-SEC roster.
