Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins (3-1) will aim to bounce back from their first loss of the season when they host the New York Giants (1-3) on Sunday.
The Dolphins fell 48-20 at the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 after a historic 70-20 win against the Denver Broncos. The Alabama product said the loss was “humbling” and “much needed” for some members of the team.
Tagovailoa recently reiterated that hard lessons were gleaned from the loss to the division rival.

“You can see being in a locker room, some people, some guys take things with a grain of salt, and some don’t,” Tagovailoa said. “Sometimes something like that is well-needed. Sometimes things like that are needed in losses, especially in the way that we lost, to get our guys closer together, to get guys doing things maybe they’ve never done or maybe they never had to do.”
Tagovailoa added that accountability is paramount in order to avoid a slide as the franchise strives for a spot in the playoffs and its first postseason victory since 2000.
“But I do know one thing, that some guys are being asked to do more than others and I think it’s a good challenge for some that are willing to take up that challenge and hopefully do something with it on Sunday,” Tagovailoa said.
