Former LSU DB Tyrann Mathieu tweets about the man that killed Saints DE Will Smith

Former New Orleans Saints DE Will Smith was shot dead by an angry motorist following an accident in New Orleans on Saturday night, and it appears as if former LSU DB Tyrann Mathieu knows the culprit.

The SEC mourned with the rest of the football community after the loss of the 34-year-old Super Bowl champ and Ohio State alum, who leaves behind a wife (who was also shot) and three children.

As information about the crime has unfolded on Sunday, former Louisiana prep football player Cardell Hayes surfaced as the man responsible for the shooting.

Hayes was reportedly arrested on Sunday morning with charges of second-degree murder.

Given his indentity, Mathieu, who now plays for the Arizona Cardinals, tweeted out a flurry of messages directed at Hayes on Twitter.

Hayes is reported to have been playing football as recently as 2015 for the Crescent City Kings.
