The Gators leaped into the Week 5 AP Top 25 on Sunday at No. 25, following an impressive come-from-behind victory over Tennessee, Florida’s 11th straight win over the Vols.

Trailing 27-14 with less than five minutes remaining, Florida quarterback Will Grier engineered consecutive touchdown drives to break the Vols. Only three times this season has a college football team surrendered a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter and Tennessee’s accounted for two of those.

The Gators (2-0) are tied with Georgia at the top of the Eastern Division following back to back wins over league competition. Ole Miss awaits in Gainesville next weekend.

Florida’s one of seven SEC teams ranked in this week’s poll.
