With one week to go in the regular season, the SEC already has 10 of its 14 member institutions bowl eligible with at least six wins.

The only schools that are eliminated already are Mississippi State and Missouri. The Bulldogs are 4-7 and can’t stop anybody on defense, while the Tigers are 3-8 and clearly have some work do to under first-year coach Barry Odom.

Two teams are currently sitting at 5-6 and on the precipice of bowl eligibility. Ole Miss needs to defeat aforementioned Mississippi State at home in order to get that sixth victory, while Vanderbilt would have to upset Tennessee in Nashville. That being said, unlike the Rebels, the Commodores have an ace up their sleeve just in case.

Be sure to watch the video above for some quick commentary on the bowl prospects for the best conference in America.
