It’s tough to move the ball against Florida’s defense, but it’s nearly impossible to do so if the ball is placed at the one-yard line.
The Gators clinched the SEC East division title with a goal-line stop on fourth down against LSU, and they recreated that moment in the Outback Bowl against Iowa.

Florida’s defense allowed opponents to score a red zone touchdown just 50 percent of the time this season, which ranked 14th among all college football teams. The Gators seem to get better when their backs are against the wall and that remained the case on Saturday.
