Smack talk is always better when you win.
Earlier in the year, a “Halloween cat” made its way into the possession of the Florida football team. During the win over Mizzou, a fan had apparently thrown the skeleton cat onto the field. It had gold and purple mardi gras beads around its neck.
LSU fans saw this — and instantly thought it was a shot at the program. During this time, it’s beloved mascot Mike had passed due to cancer.

Florida denied that the cat had anything to do with LSU. Regardless, tensions between the two schools have been enhanced.
Fast-forward to Saturday, and Florida won the SEC East by beating LSU in Tiger Stadium.
Starting OL David Sharpe reintroduced the “Halloween cat” in a short Twitter video after the game. Suffice it to say, but the trolling of LSU is out in full force.
