Walker Kessler has been a shot-blocking machine for No. 3 Auburn throughout the 2021-22 season. Kessler now, fittingly, owns the Auburn single-season record for blocked shots.

Kessler recorded block No. 127 on Wednesday night in the Tigers’ game against Ole Miss, breaking Kyle Davis’ record set during the 2002-03 season.

Auburn leads Ole Miss 43-31 at the half. Kessler is on pace for a triple-double with 8 points (3-of-5 shooting), 7 rebounds and 5 blocks in the first period. Wendell Green Jr. leads all scorers with 11 points.

The game is airing on the SEC Network.
