That didn’t take long.

Ole Miss struck first in Thursday night’s Egg Bowl, and it only took 39 seconds.

First, QB Jordan Ta’amu hit WR AJ Brown for a 58-yard gain. A perfect pass resulted in a huge play for the Rebels right off the bat. On the very next play, RB Jordan Wilkins took it 22 yards for a quick TD.

Here’s the replay of both plays:

The Rebels lead the Bulldogs 7-0 early in the first quarter, and they just picked off QB Nick Fitzgerald.
