WATCH: Back-to-back big plays gives Ole Miss early 7-0 lead on Mississippi State

That didn’t take long.
Ole Miss struck first in Thursday night’s Egg Bowl, and it only took 39 seconds.
First, QB Jordan Ta’amu hit WR AJ Brown for a 58-yard gain. A perfect pass resulted in a huge play for the Rebels right off the bat. On the very next play, RB Jordan Wilkins took it 22 yards for a quick TD.

The Rebels lead the Bulldogs 7-0 early in the first quarter, and they just picked off QB Nick Fitzgerald.
