WATCH: Bret Bielema comments on Hugh Freeze’s resignation at Ole Miss

Everyone has an opinion on Hugh Freeze’s abrupt resignation at Ole Miss.
While at the NWA Razorback Club Golf Tournament on Monday, Bielema took some time to join the media, and he was obviously asked about Freeze’s resignation. It appears that Bielema is the first SEC head coach to comment on it.
“I don’t like to comment on things I don’t know a lot about,” Bielema said. “When you’re dealing with someone you’ve developed a relationship with and see them go through things — don’t know all the answers and have not talked to him. But in addition to that, college football, you know, we’re all in this profession for all the right reasons, and you just hate when anything can be brought to light that’s a negative to our … If there’s anything negative about college football, it affects all of us.
“It’s a difficult situation, but I’m sure Ole Miss will champion it.”
