WATCH: Calvin Ridley reveals why he committed to Alabama over Miami

Former Alabama WR Calvin Ridley faced a tough choice back 2015 — commit to his hometown Miami Hurricanes, or take a chance on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Obviously, Ridley chose the Crimson Tide, and the rest is history — two national championships, 224 catches, 2,781 yards and 19 touchdowns later, Ridley was a first-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons.
As you can see in the video below, Ridley explains how a visit during the Alabama-LSU game changed his opinion on the Crimson Tide:

Ridley obviously wouldn’t have won two titles if he went to Miami, so he made the right decision when it comes to trophies.
Now he’s in the NFL, and it’ll be up to him to work with fellow ex-Alabama star Julio Jones to bring a Super Bowl to Atlanta.
