WATCH: Derrius Guice surprises his stunned mom with a new car

Former LSU RB Derrius Guice fell to the Washington Redskins in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, meaning he didn’t get as much money as he would have as a first rounder.
However, he’s still making quite a chunk of change, and he’s spending some of it in style. On Monday, he surprised his mom with a brand-new car.
As you can see in the video he posted on Twitter below, his mom was certainly surprised and ecstatic about the kind gesture:

Following the surprise, Guice busted out the champagne to truly christen the new car in style:

Guice seems like an easy guy to root for, and he’s already endearing himself to Washington fans.
He’s having a lot of fun this offseason, but after falling into the second round of the draft, it’s safe to say he’ll be ready to get to work and prove some teams wrong when the preseason kicks off.
