WATCH: Earl Thomas gives the finger to his own sideline while being carted off after injury

When you’re in the NFL, your body is your biggest asset, and Seattle Seahawks S Earl Thomas knows that.
He’s been “holding in” this season, showing up to meetings and practices, but not doing too much except for on Sundays during games.
However, this week against the Arizona Cardinals, the worst scenario possible happened for Thomas, as he was carted off with a left leg injury — one that appeared to be severe. As he was leaving the field, Thomas appeared to give the finger to his own sideline, as you can see in the video below:

Obviously, Thomas is frustrated because this injury likely means a lot of lost money for him.
He had been mentioned in trade talks this year already, but if this is as serious as it looks, he could be done for the year. Will he get the new contract he’s after? We may have to wait until this offseason to see.
