While he may have a long way to go to earn the starting job in Gainesville, true freshman quarterback Emory Jones isn’t backing down and is hard at work developing his timing with one of the better players on Florida’s roster.
In a video recently posted on his Twitter feed, Jones showed off his big arm inside the Gator indoor practice facility. The heave was caught by Florida receiver Tyrie Cleveland. Noted for his excellent mobility, which appears to be an ideal fit in Dan Mullen’s offensive system, it’s got to be nice for Florida fans to see the big arm Jones possesses in addition to the versatility he has with his legs.
This is a connection Gator fans hope to see plenty of next season and one that appears to be growing stronger by the rep.
