Jimbo Fisher has landed in College Station. Texas A&M is set to announce his hiring in moments live from the Kyle Field Hall of Champions.

The Aggies have announced Fisher has been given a 10-year deal with $75 million guaranteed to be the program’s new coach. During his head coaching career, Fisher has a compiled a record of 83-23 (.783 winning percentage) and won the 2013 BCS National Championship.

“There are very few places in America that I would have left Florida State for, and Texas A&M is at the top,” Fisher said in a statement. I want to thank the great people at Florida State for an incredible opportunity. President Young and Scott Woodward have been tremendous in our discussions and I know that we will do great things together. We have everything in place to reach our goal, which is to bring a national title to College Station, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Fisher is the first sitting head coach with a national championship to leave one program for another in over 40 years.
