Spring games are a time to have some fun while getting some live action work in, and that’s what the South Carolina Gamecocks did on Saturday.
Plenty of former Gamecocks were in town for the event, but none more important than former coach Steve Spurrier.
Spurrier got a chance to make a celebrity catch during the game, but as you can see in the video below, shared by @MrHutch24 on Twitter, the Head Ball Coach couldn’t quite haul it in:

Spurrier had a good sense of humor about it, saying he wanted to catch a 10-yard pass, not a 20-yarder. He even had the gloves on, but couldn’t haul it in.
So far, the Gamecocks have had an interesting spring game, with QB Jake Bentley turning in some solid reps.
