UCLA QB Josh Rosen made the play heard ’round the college football world Sunday night.

With his team losing 44-38, Rosen took the snap, faked a spike and threw it for the game-winning TD in epic fashion. You can watch it here. All total, Rosen threw for nearly 500 yards and four TDs.

Rosen’s Bruins were down 44-10 in the third quarter before scoring 34 unanswered points en route to a 45-44 win. The star QB spoke to the media following the win.

“It was all Coach Fisch (UCLA OC), all Coach Fisch. We’re breaking in a new offense. Took a little time to get rolling. It’s the unique way to start off. Hopefully, we can play a little better off the bat.”

Rosen responds to a question specifically about the play, “The idea behind it is to put the defense to sleep for a play. You’re going to go up to spike it. You’re just going to take the play off. You’re going to get zero pass rush. So, we faked it, threw it up. The DB kinda realized last second that the play was actually a play. I thought that’s what helped us.”
