LSU has bigger concerns than dropping out of the College Football Playoff Poll, which it did Tuesday night.

The Tigers were ranked No. 15 last week, but their removal was all but guaranteed after they lost their third consecutive game Saturday.

The Tigers, as expected, also fell out of the Week 13 AP Top 25 and Coaches polls on Sunday.

Just three weeks ago, the Tigers were 7-0 and debuted at No. 2 in the Playoff poll. They dropped to No. 9 after losing to Alabama and tumbled to No. 15 after losing to Arkansas.

After losing to Mississippi on Saturday, the focus this week has shifted dramatically from polls to the status of embattled head coach Les Miles.

Miles reportedly has a $15 million buyout if fired before Jan. 1. After that date, it drops to $12.9 million.

The Tigers (7-3) close out the regular season Saturday against visiting Texas A&M.
