Barry Odom got an up close view at the nation’s top scoring offense and he came away impressed.
The Missouri coach called Alabama as good an opponent as he’s ever faced, or seen, following a 39-10 loss.
The Tigers had an uphill battle from the beginning as Alabama scored less than a minute into the game, and then led 30-10 at halftime.
Some key stats in the game were Missouri was held to 70 rushing yards, and it committed three turnovers.
Here’s what Odom told reporters after the game:
Barry Odom on Alabama: "They're a dang good football team. They're as good as I've ever gone against and as good as I've ever seen."

Odom asked about targeting on Terez Hall, says his number one concern is always the safety of the game. But also says it's difficult to teach defenders to adjust when they've already gone into a position to make a tackle and the ball-carrier ducks his head at the last second.

Barry Odom asked what he'd think on the way Drew Lock played today: "I don't know … I haven't even talked to Derek (Dooley) yet."

Odom says on the 81-yard TD on Alabama's second play, Cam Hilton was expecting over the top help from another safety.

Barry Odom: "The last three weeks have been tough. They've been tough on everybody."
