Even after a tough Week 1 loss, South Carolina’s season is not doomed, but head coach Will Muschamp isn’t going to keep the status quo either. South Carolina will be making some changes along its offense for Week 2 against Charleston.

“We didn’t play as well on the offensive line and we’ve made some changes there,” Muschamp said on ‘Carolina Calls’ per 247Sports. “Jordan Rhodes will start at left guard, Jovaughn Gwyn will start at right guard and we’ve moved Donell (Stanley) back to center. We’ll see how this lineup works.”

Rhodes and Gwyn will both be making their first career starts. They will replace Hank Manos and Eric Douglas in the starting lineup while Stanley will move back to center, where he started 12 games last year.

Senior A.J. Turner will also be available to Muschamp if he elects to use him, but 247Sports reports Shi Smith is expected to remain the team’s kickoff returner. Turner missed last week because of a shoulder injury.
