When someone from your inner circle accomplishes something, their success can translate into fuel for your fire. It enhances your own belief that you can achieve your dreams. That’s what Travon Walker’s recent extension has done for Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller.

Friday afternoon, NFL Network was interviewing Miller for their evening episode of The Insiders. During the taping, Ian Rapoport received news that former No. 1 pick Travon Walker, a Georgia alum, had signed a 4-year, $110 million extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars. When Rapoport gave Miller the news, the 2026 NFL Draft prospect couldn’t contain the excitement for his friend and mentor.

“How much?! A hundred [million]?! Whooo, hoo hoo,” an ecstatic Miller reacted. “That’s what I call four pockets full… he’s four pockets full right now… that’s a blessing.”

After the initial wave, Miller dove into Walker’s path to prominence at Georgia. He recapped how Walker built himself from a rotational piece to foundational defender in college, and how he has translated his game to the professional ranks.

“People don’t understand his story… the first year, he didn’t start at Georgia. Second year, was in the rotation… the third year, he hit the ground running,” Miller said. “From there, he ain’t stopped since. He has been a double-digit sack guy in the league… that’s what I look up to… just hearing that, that just makes me want to go harder. Shoutout Travon… congrats to you, brother.”

Miller won’t go No. 1 overall, but a handful of mock drafts have projected him to be selected late in the first round. ESPN ranks Miller as the No. 49 overall prospect (No. 4 DT) in this year’s draft. The 2026 NFL Draft begins on Apr. 23.
