Daniel Jeremiah’s latest NFL Draft big board includes 16 SEC stars in top 50 prospects

This year’s NFL Draft figures to be a lackluster one for the SEC. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein predicts only 8 SEC stars to go in Round 1.
But there are still plenty of familiar names on NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah’s big board. Sure, only 1 guy lands in the top 10, but a total of 16 SEC players are included in Jeremiah’s top 50.
Here’s a look at the SEC players who made the cut for Jeremiah’s latest pre-draft rankings:
- No. 8 — Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
- No. 15 — Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
- No. 20 — Monroe Freeling, OL, Georgia
- No. 22 — Kadyn Proctor, OL, Alabama
- No. 25 — Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee
- No. 28 — Cashius Howell, Edge, Texas A&M
- No. 29 — KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
- No. 30 — CJ Allen, LB, Georgia
- No. 31 — Keldric Faulk, Edge, Auburn
- No. 32 — Anthony Hill Jr., LB, Texas
- No. 38 — Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama
- No. 42 — Caleb Banks, DL, Florida
- No. 43 — Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina
- No. 45 — Zion Young, DL, Mizzou
- No. 49 — R Mason Thomas, Edge, Oklahoma
- No. 50 — Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
Round 1 is set for Thursday, April 23, in Pittsburgh. Most of these guys will likely be off the board by the end of Round 3 on Friday night.
