The 2025 NFL regular season is set to kick off in a couple of weeks, and that means that the league has been in the process of unveiling its top 100 players list ahead of the new campaign.
Several second-year players have already added their names to the list of the NFL’s elite after promising rookie campaigns, and now former Georgia Bulldogs standout and current Las Vegas Raiders superstar tight end Brock Bowers can add his name to that list, as he was just named the 24th-best player ahead of the 2025 season.
Bowers, who the Raiders selected with the 13th overall pick in the 2024 draft, came into the NFL and picked things up right where he left off in college, absolutely dominating at the highest level of the sport in his first season as a pro.
He put together arguably the greatest rookie season in history for a tight end, racking up 1,207 yards from scrimmage and 5 touchdowns while also collecting First-Team All-Pro honors and a Pro Bowl nod.
This elite start mirrors how his college career began at Georgia during the 2021 season, when he came into Athens as a true freshman and immediately dominated the toughest conference in all of college football while helping the Dawgs win their first national championship in over 40 years.
Now that Bowers has shown he’s capable of being one of the NFL’s elite pass-catching tight ends, the Raiders will now be hoping he can help end their own long-standing championship drought in the near future.
