Former Mizzou RB Cody Schrader scored his first touchdown as an NFL player on Saturday night.

It won’t go in his official stats, but the Los Angeles Rams are celebrating Schrader’s receiving score as the first TD of his career.

In addition to the receiving score, Schrader impressed with 5 carries for 59 yards. Both Schrader’s current coach and former coach liked what they saw from the former Tiger running back.

The 2025 season marks Year 2 for Schrader in the NFL. He went undrafted in 2024, but Schrader’s used to beating the odds. His first opportunity came with the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams claimed Schrader last season after he was waived by the 49ers.

Schrader will keep pushing carries in a crowded Rams running back room. He’ll be competing for touches with Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and Jarquez Hunter.
