The SEC recruiting footprint was well-represented in the NFL for kickoff weekend.
Houston, Texas and Miami, Florida, considered the two national hotbeds for recruiting, each had 19 players on NFL rosters according to ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Atlanta and New Orleans, two areas that the SEC has dominated in recruiting, had 13 players apiece.
The state of Florida was well represented with Miami, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Plantation. Bradenton, the home of IMG Academy, was also on the list with 14 players.
