Shaq warns RG3: I’ll ‘punch you in the f-ing face’ for posting about Angel Reese

Shaquille O’Neal is threatening to get violent with Robert Griffin III if the former NFL quarterback comes after Angel Reese again on social media.
Shaq recently visited the Off the Record podcast and used the interview to threaten RG3.
“RG3, tweet another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese and I’m gonna punch you in your f—ing face,” Shaq said. “It’s enough. I don’t usually do stuff like this, but just stop it, bro.”
O’Neal was referencing a recent post from Griffin. He wasn’t done tearing into the media personality.
The basketball legend dismissed Griffin’s athletic career, saying the former NFL quarterback will only be remembered for his podcast. Griffin won the Heisman Trophy at Baylor before being selected No. 2 overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Though many took Reese’s post that did not name Griffin to be a response, Shaq noted that he has been telling her not to respond. The legendary big man has been a mentor to Reese, who led LSU to the 2023 women’s national championship, and has assisted with endorsement deals.

Griffin last played in the NFL in 2020. He joined ESPN as a college and pro football analyst in 2021, but was fired in August 2024. He launched his podcast in September 2023.
