Andy Reid is battling the elements inside Arrowhead Stadium.

Just how cold are the conditions for the playoff game between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs? Well, the temperature was a balmy -4 degrees at kickoff, and the wind chill in the stadium had the “feels like” temperature approaching -30 degrees.

It is so cold that players on both sidelines are wearing wetsuits under their uniforms. And, in incredible fashion, one video of a concession stand shows a bottle of water beginning to freeze in seconds after being removed from a cooler.

True to form, though, Reid’s mustache is putting in an MVP effort as the head coach tries to guide the Chiefs to another playoff win. Throughout the first half, Reid’s mustache slowly but steadily accumulated moisture that formed into icicles throughout the action.

By the time the teams headed to halftime, Reid’s mustache was fully coated in frozen glory. It’s quite the scene as fans on social media — and in the broadcast booth — reacted to the sight.
