Taylor Rapp, a defensive back for the Buffalo Bills, was injured in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. After going down to the turf after one play, the stretcher was eventually called for Rapp.
Rapp was seen making a fist and moving his hand while getting loaded into the ambulance. That is a hopeful sign for a scary scene with everyone involved.

Rapp was injured on a play that also appeared to injure teammate Taron Johnson. Johnson went down hard on the combined tackle, and the Buffalo sideline immediately went to his aid as he stayed on the turf.
However, Rapp came away from the incident stumbling and grabbing near his shoulder and neck area before going down to the turf on the sideline.

Rapp is a former Washington standout with 7 career interceptions during his career with the Huskies. He was originally a 2nd-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 2019 NFL Draft.
After 4 seasons with the Rams, Rapp landed with the Bills for 2023. He has appeared in 10 games with 2 starts while playing a significant number of snaps on special teams. Rapp has 25 total tackles, half a sack and a fumble recovery so far this season.
Our thoughts go out to Rapp with hopes for a quick recovery.
