“I want you all to know, no matter the course I take, I will forever be a Sooner,” Roberson wrote in-part. “And have that OU DNAÂ running through my veins. With that being said I am entering the portal as a graduate transfer with 2 years of eligibility.”
Roberson didn’t play for Oklahoma last season but has been a veteran rotation lineman over the past few seasons. He has 8 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in his career.
Roberson was the No. 476 overall player and the No. 32 strong side defensive end in the country for the class of 2019, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s originally from Manvel, Texas.
Oklahoma has been aggressive in adding players via the portal so far this offseason. OU’s additions include multiple defensive linemen: Jacob Lacey, Trace Ford, Rondell Bothroyd and Davon Sears.
Oklahoma will hold its annual spring game on Saturday.
