Caden Davis, a kicker who transferred from Texas A&M, has announced a commitment to stay in the SEC West.

Davis, who spent 3 years in College Station, announced on social media that he committed to Ole Miss. The junior from Coppell, Texas, thanked the 12th Man for supporting him and being the best fanbase in college football. But now he heads to Oxford as a graduate transfer with 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Davis was the backup kicker this season for the Aggies to sophomore Randy Bond.

Davis mostly handled kickoff duties during his time with the Aggies. Davis attempted 3 field goals in 2022, and made 1 of his kicks from 40 yards out in the season opener against Sam Houston State. That was his only field goal of his A&M career.

Davis also made all 6 of his extra-point attempts this season.

In 2021, Davis missed the only field goal he attempted and made 1 extra point.
