For Lane Kiffin, touchdowns at Ole Miss are a family celebration.

After Rebels defensive tackle JJ Pegues’ big-man touchdown gave Ole Miss a 16-7 lead in the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State, the Rebels’ sidelines became filled with smoke from a fire extinguisher. And who else was leading the celebration but Knox Kiffin, son of head coach Lane Kiffin.

Clearly, there’s at least one member of the Kiffin family that seems to be happy staying in Oxford. After rumors swirled that Lane Kiffin was one of the frontrunners for the Auburn job, he is apparently set to stay where he is, reportedly telling players in a meeting on Wednesday about his decision to remain with the program.

Ole Miss held a 16-14 lead at halftime in the Egg Bowl. The Rebels have won the last 2 meetings between the 2 teams.
